Maps & Driving Directions
Most people travel to Stehekin Valley Ranch via passenger ferry on Lake Chelan. The following maps and driving directions will help you understand where we are, and where you need to catch your boat.
You will not be driving to the Ranch directly – plan to park in a gated lot, and then ride a passenger ferry 30-50 miles (depending on which dock you board at) to Stehekin, then a bus for the final 9 miles to Stehekin Valley Ranch.
If you plan to arrive by another method (private plane, helicopter, trail), these maps can still be a helpful start in understanding where Stehekin is located.

We recommend boarding the passenger ferries at Field’s Point, located 20 miles up the South Shore of Lake Chelan from the town of Chelan. This is where you board the Stehekin Ferry, and while the Lake Chelan Boat Company vessel start their trips in Chelan, most of them will pick up and drop off here as well. Overnight parking rates are cheaper at Field’s Point than in Chelan too.

Lake Chelan is 55 miles long, with the town of Chelan at the Southeast end, and Stehekin at the Northwest end. Field’s Point Landing is 20 up the South Shore from the city of Chelan. Stehekin Valley Ranch is 9 miles northwest of the Stehekin boat landing.

Field’s Point is a great place to board the passenger ferries, with gated parking, easy lakeside loading zone, small concessionaire, trails & picnic tables.
How to get to Field’s Point:
Driving Directions:
You can type “Field’s Point Landing, Chelan, WA 98816”
into most GPS devices to get directions, but here are the basic directions as well.
From Wenatchee:
Head NORTH on US Hwy 97A for 23 miles.
Turn LEFT onto Navarre Coulee Road. Continue on this road for 9 miles.
Turn LEFT onto S Lakeshore Road. Continue on this road for 7 miles.
Turn RIGHT at the sign for Field’s Point Landing.
From points further away:
Travel by the best route to Wenatchee, and then follow the above directions.
From the North:
Travel to Chelan, WA.
Head out of town to the SOUTHWEST, on Hwy 97A.
Turn RIGHT onto S Lakeshore Road. (approximately 3 miles out of town.)
Continue on S Lakeshore Road for 14 miles.
Turn RIGHT at the sign for Field’s Point Landing.
Parking Info & Fees
Parking at Field’s Point:
This is a great place to park if you are planning to spend some time on the upper end of Lake Chelan. The lot is gated, and there is also a concessionaire on site during the day. Use the loading zone at lake level to facilitate getting your luggage to the boat dock.

Parking in Chelan:
If you ride on one of the Lake Chelan Boat Co. vessels, you may choose to board in Chelan and park in their overnight lot. They also have a free lot available for day use only.
