WE ARE OPENING ON SEPT 5!!
The Ranch will be opening our cabins back up on 9/5, with dinners and kayak tours starting on 9/6. We are stoked to welcome everyone back for our favorite month!
NOTE: We will also be hosting a small firefighter camp at the Ranch to support them as they continue to ensure the fire remains contained away from the Stehekin Valley. Their camp will be contained on the down valley side of our driveway, leaving the main Ranch area as normal for our guests. But don’t worry - Max will be on patrol to keep them in line!

An update on the current status of Stehekin Valley

An update on the current status of Stehekin Valley Ranch
July 28, 2024

The Stehekin Valley is currently on a Level 3 Evacuation Notice. The Ranch is closed to the general public until that is lifted. This means that our cabins, restaurant, and tours are all unavailable for now.

We are still hopeful that this is a temporary situation, and that we will be able to re-open before our season ends this year.

The good news for the Ranch is that the fire fighters are moving their base of operations here - we should be as safe as anyone in the valley! We will be feeding and housing the crews in continued support of their efforts.

Also, the Level 3 status does move this fire up in the priority list, and the fire fighters are hoping to get more resources to help stop it. It is still looking like we should get some rain tomorrow too, which should help as well.

Due to the Pioneer Fire, the Stehekin Valley has been thrown a major curveball for our normal tourist season. We are adapting as best we can. The following is a summary of the Ranch’s current status. We will do our best to keep you all updated as the situation changes.
