There are many ways to join the Stehekin Valley Ranch family of employees. Check out the positions below to see how you can best join our team!
Massage Therapist
Grab this chance of a lifetime while you can! We are looking for one or two qualified Massage Therapists (licensed in WA state) to join us in providing a quality experience for our guests. This is a small operation, focused on improving the overall experience and health of our clientele. If you are a self starter who likes to have some control of your own destiny, this could be a perfect opportunity for you!
Skills: Must be licensed to do massage therapy in the state of Washington.
Duties: Perform massages for guests at the Ranch. Swedish and Deep Tissue massages are the most common requests. A heated cabin with bathroom facilities is provided for massage. We have a quality massage table, and will provide sheets/blankets, but you will want to bring your own supplies (oils & lotions, music, etc). You will also be responsible for doing your own massage related laundry (we provide laundry facilities), and keeping the massage cabin clean, tidy, and stocked with necessary items.
While we have other employees who are responsible for promoting activities and getting guests signed up for massages, we do find that a Therapist who is willing to interact with people and promote themselves tends to get more customers. You are your best asset, and a smile goes a long way towards success!
This is most likely a part time position (20-30 hours/week) in terms of massage, due to the amount of client traffic we see. However, this position may be combined with other jobs to create a full time position.
Compensation / Room & Board:
We strive to keep our wages as competitive as possible. Starting wages for massage therapists are $50/hr + tips + room & board, and could be higher depending on your experience. Housing is a private cabin or room, and meals are the same great food we serve to our guests.
